As seen on TV!

Cast your mind back to July 19th, it was 39 degrees in Manchester and I had my first day on set. It was one of the hardest days I've had in my career, trying to get hair to say frizz free and to hold a style in that heat was a challenge but guided by the lovely Charley Mcewen the models where in great hands. We created the looks for a family playing in the park scene which you can see in at the start of the commercial, for which we created cute matching top knots and I did a lot of braids for the kids.

After lunch we then headed into the Northern Quarter and filmed the scene in the city including the 'selfie scene' and the 'hailing a taxi scene' for these looks we had to create gorgeous going out looks making sure then were also looks that could be recreated by anyone. This is where the world of TV is so different to fashion. I'm so used to creating either slicked wet looks that don't move for days or architectural avant garde up dos, so to create something that soft glam was a new discipline!

Overall, I had such a good day, I enjoyed every moment of it and I can't wait to be back working with them in September for there Christmas campaign!
